Ballots for the September 14, 2021 California Gubernatorial Recall Election will be mailed by the County of San Mateo Elections Division to registered voters starting August 12, 2021.

Ballot Drop Box Locations are now open (as of August 12, 2021) to drop your voted ballot.  In Pacifica, there are two Official Ballot Drop Box locations, which are serviced by the San Mateo County Elections Division, but you may drop off your ballot at any of the Ballot Drop Boxes located throughout the County.

Ballot Drop Boxes in Pacifica:

  • 170 Santa Maria Avenue, Pacifica -- outside of Pacifica City Hall
  • 540 Crespi Drive, Pacifica -- in front of Pacifica Community Center
  • Visit www.smcvote.org for a list of additional Ballot Drop Box locations throughout the County.

Vote Center in Pacifica:

A 4-Day Vote Center will be open in Pacifica at the below location from September 11 - September 14, 2021:

  • St. Peter Parish, 700 Oddstad Boulevard, Pacifica

However, voters may vote in-person at any of the 20 Vote Centers located throughout San Mateo County or make use of one of several options for ways to vote in this election detailed at www.smcvote.org.
