The Pacifica City Council meets at 7:00 pm on the second and fourth Monday of each month unless noted otherwise.

This meeting will be conducted pursuant to the provisions of Government Code Section 54953 (as Amended by AB 361) which authorizes teleconferenced meetings under the Brown Act during certain proclaimed states of emergency.  The June 27, 2022 meeting will be held via Zoom with NO PHYSICAL LOCATION OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

Alternative Ways to Watch / Participate in the Meeting

How to Provide Written Public Comments:

  • During the Meeting: Join via the Zoom Webinar link or Dial-in connection noted above. Raise hand in Zoom to indicate that you wish to comment during Oral Communications or the public comment period for the agenda topic.  By phone, press *9 to raise / lower hand; press *6 to unmute when called upon by last 4-digits of your phone number.
  • Before the Meeting:  Members of the public are encouraged to submit written public comments before the meeting by sending an email to: publiccomment@pacifica.gov by 12:00 pm on the meeting date. Written comments will be made part of the record of proceedings but will not be read verbally at the meeting. Comments submitted by email should adhere to the following:
    • In the Subject Line, clearly indicate the Meeting Date and Agenda Item No. or Oral Communications for items not on the agenda.
    • Include the submitter’s full name.
    • Written comments received that do not specify a particular agenda item will be marked for the general public comment portion of the agenda - "Oral Communications".
  • Note: Staff cannot guarantee written comments received after the above deadline will be received by Council before the meeting. However, all written comments received prior to the end of a meeting will be sent to Council and made part of the record of proceedings.

City Council Regular Meetings

City Council meetings are held in-person at City Council Chambers, 2212 Beach Blvd., Pacifica, unless otherwise noted in the Agenda. See the Full Meeting Agenda for details.

Alternative Ways to Watch / Participate in the Regular Meeting

  • Live Public Comments By Phone (pilot program for public engagement):
    • When the Mayor announces the Agenda Item on which you would like to comment, dial-in to the number and enter the conference ID listed below.  You will be placed on hold in a call queue.  Press *5 to "raise your hand" in the call-queue.  Please remain on the line and mute any background sound, listen through your phone to be called upon by the last 4-digits of your phone number.  When called upon, press *6 to unmute.  State your full name at the start of your public comment.

    • Press * 5 to raise your hand in the call queue.
